Xenical.
Xenical (orlistat) is an anti-obesity medicine specially designed for the needs of patients that need to be taking some medicine to lose weight and maintain the progress achieved. Xenical is not supposed to be taken by anyone younger than 18 without consulting a qualified health care professional first. It's therefore very important that you talk to a doctor and find out if taking Xenical is going to be safe for you. You will need to watch the calorie intake and fat contents of the foods you eat daily to make sure your intake of fat and protein is evenly divided throughout the day. If you missed a meal or forgot to take your Xenical dose – you can just skip it and take it next time you have a meal that contains some fat. Let your doctor know if you are using any other medications, especially cyclosporine, levothyroxine, blood thinner, digoxin, oral insulin or diabetes medications. If you develop such side effects as oily or fatty stools, stomach pain, gas with discharge, loose stools, oily spotting, don’t get worried – they are normal. Some other side effects are also possible – such as sore throat, sneezing, headache, mild skin rash, fever, back pain, stuffy nose, chills, and cough.
